The left's stock in trade has been their holier-than-thou posturing along with their ideology of socialist utopianism. But in recent years the thin varnish of moralizing has developed quite a few cracks. And in this essay VDH shows us a few examples of just how that moralizing actually works out in practice if you are in a position to profit from the suffering of others while gathering more and more power and money to yourself.
