Like Peggy Noonan, he looks at the unintended consequences of the Watergate affair and how the desire of The Elite Media Monoculture to bring down a sitting Republican President in a time of war also brought subjugation, death and communist slavery to millions in southeast Asia. If there is such a thing as karma, says Ben Stein, you can bet that a lot of people have bought themselves a serious hell in the future.
