It Ain't Cool

In the old Soviet Union, home of the Great Socialist Utopia, inconvenient history was often airbrushed out of existence in order to preserve the image of the rulers. Trotsky too troublesome? A little bit of photographic erasure and presto; problem solved. Wlady Pleszczynski writes that the same historical revision is now at work in Hollywood, where a Major Motion Picture starring Steve McQueen and Natalie Wood has mysteriously disappeared.
