The Media’s False Modesty

Take some credit for America’s reputation!

Here is a story from a while back which bears on the recent events in London. Heather Mac Donald writes about The Elite Media Monocultures obsession with American perfidy in places such as Gitmo where we are torturing prisoners with rice pilaf and honey glazed chicken. Of course the reporters who are so anxious to blame America first never bother to ask themselves what kind of people we are holding in such places. They never stop to ask themselves if the detainees might actually be the most vile and evil scum of the earth. They just indulge their automatic knee-jerk reaction of blaming America for all of the problems in the known universe.
