Rock of Hatred

Marc Levin brings us this short essay in which he points out some of the paranoia, arrogance and hypocrisy which we find among those musicians who are touring under the banner of "Vote for Change" which is, of course, dedicated to defeating George Bush. What upsets these mavens of popular culture? Well things like the flag, patriotism and anyone who has the temerity to criticize rich musicians as being out of touch with the vast majority of Americans. But you won't be able to tell them that you disagree with them directly; you'll have to go through their publicity managers, agents and personal assistants first.
