That '90s Show

A return to Clintonism wouldn't be a return to peace and prosperity.

The editors at The Wall Street Journal give us a more accurate look at the economic history of the 90's than we are likely to get from any member of the Democratic party or Kerry's re-election campaign. Clinton was lucky enough to get a continuation of the Reagan era prosperity for most of his term, but was able to avoid the blame for the tech bubble which burst at the end of his term and which took a considerable amount of wealth with it. Those of you who have market investments, like I do, should know this already. The markets reached their high in March of 2000 and went south from their. But Clinton was out of office by the time everyone realized that the bubble had burst.
