Why I skipped the Boston convention.
Democratic Senator Zell Miller explains in this essay why he did not go to the recent Democratic party convention in Boston. But he will be going to the Republican convention in New York and will speak to the delegates there. It is a pity he is leaving the Senate. His party would do well to listen to his advice.
